Bring the earthy character of mugwort into your space with our naturally dried, twine-bound stalk bundles. Mugwort has a place in traditional smoke-cleansing practices, where its aromatic smoke symbolizes clearing stagnant energy and making room for a fresh beginning.

Used with intention, it offers a meaningful way to mark a transition, refresh the atmosphere, or prepare a space for quiet reflection. Each bundle retains its rustic texture, with natural variations in color, thickness, and shape.

“Cleansing” refers to traditional spiritual use, not air purification or disinfection. Burning herbs adds smoke particles to the air; use briefly with good ventilation.

When to Replace or Discard

There is no fixed replacement schedule. Discard if the bundle becomes moldy, develops a musty smell, or is contaminated. Do not burn damp material.

Stop burning when the bundle becomes too short or loose to remain securely supported. Never place warm ash or embers in the trash.

Includes: One dried mugwort stalk bundle. Stalk count varies with thickness to create a balanced bundle.

Each bundle contains approximately 12–20 stalks measuring 12–14 inches long. Thickness, branching, and color vary naturally.

Ingredients

Dried mugwort stalks, tied with natural twine and finished with a paper identification tag. Remove the tag and twine before burning.

How to Brew/Use

For display: Place in a dry vase or on a suitable surface, away from moisture, heat, and open flames.

For aromatic burning:
> Remove the paper tag and any non-burnable attachments.
> Place the bundle in a large, stable, noncombustible vessel that supports its full length and catches falling embers.
> Light one end carefully, then extinguish the open flame, allowing only a small ember to remain.
> Keep the vessel stationary and supervise continuously. Do not carry the smoldering bundle around.
> Extinguish completely in sand, checking carefully for hidden embers. Keep it in the fireproof vessel until completely cold.
> Use briefly with good ventilation. Do not deliberately inhale the smoke.

> Twine-bound bundle: Keeps the stems together for convenient handling and display.

FAQs

Are these leafy mugwort bundles?
These bundles consist primarily of dried woody stalks. Small leaf remnants and branching tips may remain.

Will every bundle look the same?
No. Length, thickness, color, and branching vary naturally. Refer to your selected product option for size and quantity.

Can I make tea with these sticks?
No. These bundles are not offered as a food or tea product.

Do I remove the tag before burning?
Yes. Remove the paper tag and any non-burnable attachments before lighting.

Does mugwort smoke clean the air?
No. Burning plant material adds smoke particles to the air. Ventilation does not make smoke exposure risk-free.

Can I reuse a partially burned bundle?
Only if it has been fully extinguished, cooled completely, and remains dry and securely bound. Check for hidden embers before storing.

How should I store it?
Keep in a cool, dry place away from moisture and ignition sources. Never seal away a warm or smoldering bundle.

How long will it burn?
Burn time varies with the bundle’s dryness, thickness, and airflow. Use briefly and extinguish deliberately rather than leaving it to burn through.
