Yoni Care

Reconnecting With Your Womb

Your womb and intimate tissues are part of a beautifully responsive system influenced by hormones, circulation, the nervous system, your menstrual cycle, pregnancy, birth, age, and overall health.

For generations, women across many cultures have also turned to herbs as part of their feminine-care traditions from soothing aromatic baths and postpartum practices to herbs traditionally used for menstrual and pelvic wellness.

At Herbs of Her, Yoni Care is rooted in that tradition while recognizing something equally important: the vagina is naturally self-cleaning and does not need to be detoxed. Yoni care should never be about aggressively cleansing or disrupting the delicate vaginal environment. Instead, we approach it as intentional external and pelvic wellness supporting comfort, ritual, relaxation, circulation, and connection with your body.

Understanding Your Intimate Ecosystem

The vagina maintains its own microbiome and naturally acidic environment. Discharge can also be completely normal and may change throughout the menstrual cycle.

That means fragrance, steaming, herbs, washes, or other products should never be used to mask persistent odor, itching, burning, unusual discharge, pelvic pain, or other symptoms that may require medical evaluation.

Our philosophy is simple: support the body don't fight against it.

Herbs traditionally associated with feminine wellness may contain aromatic, astringent, soothing, or warming plant compounds. Depending on the herb and method of use, these qualities have historically made botanicals part of menstrual, postpartum, and intimate-care traditions.

That traditional use is the inspiration behind our Yoni Care collection.

Tight & Toned

Traditional focus: Tone • Astringency • Pelvic Ritual

Tight & Toned is our astringent-forward botanical blend featuring herbs such as witch hazel leaf, lady's mantle, oak bark, yarrow, raspberry leaf, rose, and lavender.

Astringent herbs have traditionally been valued for the temporary tightening or toning sensation they can create on tissues. This should not be confused with permanently tightening the vagina or strengthening pelvic-floor muscles.

We created Tight & Toned for women looking to incorporate a toning botanical ritual into their feminine-care routine, particularly during seasons when they want to feel more connected, refreshed, and restored.

For true pelvic-floor weakness, especially following childbirth a pelvic-floor healthcare professional can provide individualized assessment and exercises.

Womb Unbound

Traditional focus: Warmth • Release • Grounding

Some days, what your body needs most is permission to slow down.

Womb Unbound was created around the traditional use of warming and aromatic herbs alongside the emotional ritual of releasing what no longer serves you.

Many women describe stress, difficult experiences, relationships, or major life transitions as something they “carry” in their womb or pelvic space. While science has not established that trauma or a past partner's energy is literally stored in the uterus, the pelvic floor and nervous system can respond to stress with tension and discomfort.

Womb Unbound honors both sides of that experience.

Use the ritual as a moment to breathe, soften, pray, journal, meditate, or simply reconnect with yourself. Spiritually, you may choose to view that time as releasing stagnant energy, closing old chapters, and returning to your own center.

FertiliTea

Traditional focus: Womb Readiness • Nourishment • Intention

Conceive & Receive was created as a preconception ritual for women intentionally preparing for pregnancy.

The blend draws inspiration from herbs traditionally associated with menstrual wellness, circulation, nourishment, and reproductive health. It is designed around the idea of preparing the body with care rather than promising pregnancy.

Fertility is complex. Ovulation, sperm health, age, fallopian-tube health, uterine conditions, hormones, overall health, and many other factors can influence conception. No herbal steam has been proven to build the uterine lining, balance reproductive hormones, increase cervical mucus, improve implantation, or treat infertility.

Think of FertiliTea as support during your preconception season not a fertility treatment.

Discontinue use if pregnancy is suspected or confirmed.

Period Aftercare

Traditional focus: Restore • Soothe • Reconnect

Your period ends, but your cycle keeps moving.

Period Aftercare was created for the quieter days following menstruation a botanical ritual centered around rest, comfort, and reconnection.

Rather than “cleansing out” menstrual blood the uterus naturally handles that process the goal is to create a gentle transition from menstruation into the next phase of your cycle.

Aromatic and traditionally soothing herbs make this a beautiful time to slow down, hydrate, replenish yourself with nourishing foods, and give your body a little extra care.

Think of it as your post-period reset.

PurifyHer

Traditional focus: Refresh • Comfort • Botanical Cleansing Ritual

PurifyHer was created for those moments when you simply want to feel refreshed and reconnect with your feminine-care routine.

It contains botanicals traditionally valued for their aromatic, soothing, and cleansing properties. However, an important distinction matters here: yoni steaming has not been proven to treat bacterial vaginosis, yeast infections, alter vaginal pH, or eliminate infection-causing organisms.

BV and yeast infections require proper identification because similar symptoms can have very different causes.

Persistent fishy or unusually strong odor, itching, burning, pelvic pain, sores, abnormal bleeding, or significant changes in discharge deserve medical evaluation rather than being covered up with herbs or fragrance.

Your vagina doesn't need to smell like flowers to be healthy.

Yoni Care Is Also About Paying Attention

One of the most valuable feminine wellness practices is simply learning what is normal for you.

Notice your discharge throughout your cycle. Pay attention to changes in odor. Learn how your cervical mucus changes. Notice pelvic tension, dryness, irritation, pain, and menstrual patterns.

That awareness gives you something no product can replace: a relationship with your own body.

Our Yoni Care collection is meant to complement that relationship not override it.

Honor the herbs. Know your body. Respect its natural intelligence.

Herbs of Her Yoni Care Safety

Herbs of Her Yoni Care products are intended for general wellness and traditional botanical ritual. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease and should not replace professional medical care.

Yoni steaming carries a risk of burns and irritation, and evidence for its medical benefits is limited. Never use excessively hot steam or place your body directly over boiling water.

Avoid yoni steaming during pregnancy, while actively bleeding, immediately following miscarriage or childbirth unless medically cleared, or when you have open sores, significant irritation, unexplained pelvic pain, or a suspected/active vaginal or reproductive infection. If you have an IUD, reproductive-health condition, are undergoing fertility treatment, or are trying to conceive, speak with your healthcare professional before use.

Stop immediately if you experience burning, pain, dizziness, increased irritation, unusual discharge, or other concerning symptoms.

Your intimate wellness deserves care not guesswork.
